TESC

EICR Compliance Support for Letting Agents

Helping agents track Electrical Safety compliance and remedial deadlines.

The Problem Letting Agents Face

Under current Electrical Safety Regulations, landlords must ensure electrical installations are inspected and tested at least every five years. Where an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is marked Unsatisfactory, remedial work must be completed within 28 days.

In practice, many EICRs simply stop at the letting agent. There is usually no central verification, tracking or follow-up to confirm remedial works have been completed.

How the TESC System Works

1. EICR Filed The electrician files the report with TESC through the online filing system.
2. Case Logged The property is assigned a compliance record within the TESC system.
3. Verification Page Each report receives a unique verification page showing its compliance status.
4. Compliance Tracking Unsatisfactory reports are monitored for remedial completion within 28 days.

Verification Pages

Every filed EICR generates a verification page hosted by TESC.
