Electrical Safety Compliance: The Electrical Safety Council

The Electrical Safety Council (TESC) is an independent compliance and verification body dedicated to ensuring electrical compliance monitoring across the UK rental and commercial property sectors. We collaborate with qualified contractors and local authorities to uphold electrical safety standards. Our mission is to assist landlords, managing agents, and duty-holders in fulfilling their legal obligations under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020. Our role includes: 

- Confirming satisfactory inspection outcomes for EICR compliance 

- Flagging and following up on unsatisfactory EICRs 

- Ensuring that EICR remedial works are completed within the required 28-day window 

- Informing tenants (if applicable) and local council of the situation  

All compliance records are meticulously logged and monitored to support public safety and transparency.
