About TESC

The Electrical Safety Council (TESC) is an independent compliance and verification body working alongside qualified contractors and local authorities to ensure electrical safety standards are upheld across the UK rental and commercial property sectors. We assist landlords, managing agents, and duty-holders in meeting their legal obligations under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020. Our role is simple:  

• Confirm satisfactory inspection outcomes
• Flag and follow up on unsatisfactory EICR
• Ensure remedial works are completed within the required 28-day window
• All compliance records are logged and monitored to support public safety and transparency
