We understand the challenges of carrying out EICR inspections, clients don't always understand why it has failed. And it's not always easy explaining to someone not in the trade why the Zs reading on the lighting circuit in the loft is too high. It's difficult and uncomfortable to follow up your own remedial works as it can come across to some people as a pressure sale when all we're trying to do is ensure safety and compliance. Especially when "everything works and it passed last time, 5 years ago" right!?

Therefore, using an independent body like TESC to follow up impartially and professionally has helped many companies achieve a much higher level of successfully winning any required remedial works. If the clients choose to use another company we ask them to upload the new satisfactory certificate and to provide details of who carried the work out so that we can check the certificate is acceptable and legitimate. If they accept your quote, they have nothing further to do, as you would upload the new cert and we would automatically close the compliance loop and it's all done for the next 5 years!
