For letting agents & property managers

One consistent EICR record for every property you manage.

Keep inspection reports organised, make remedial follow-up easier and give authorised landlords access to their property certificates. Ask contractors to file with TESC so your agency has a reliable record to work from.

Why agencies use TESC

Electrical compliance involves more than receiving a PDF by email. The record needs to remain findable when staff, tenants, owners and contractors change.

Property-based records

Find filed EICRs against the property rather than searching old email threads or individual staff folders.

Inspection dates & follow-up

Keep sight of recorded inspection dates, report outcomes, upcoming checks and evidence of remedial completion.

Contractor choice

Use your established electrical contractor or find a registered provider. You are not tied to one supplier.

Put a simple filing requirement into your contractor instructions.

When arranging an EICR, ask the attending contractor to file the completed report with TESC and provide the property access PIN. That keeps records accessible beyond the original job.

Contractors using TESC can file through their existing contractor accounts. The agent or landlord can then access their linked property through the PIN route.

Suggested wording for your work orders

“Please supply the completed EICR and, where available, file the report with The Electrical Safety Council (TESC), providing the property access details for our compliance records.”

TESC is an independent filing and record platform. A TESC filing is not a statutory replacement for the original report or remedial completion evidence.

Getting your portfolio onto TESC

You can start with one property and expand at your own pace.
